Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and procuring pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely delivery, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in Hindi and English languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure pharmaceutical products as per company requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and developments to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical procurement is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English languages (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus.
