Asia Trade International Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Billing & Junior Accountant to handle daily sales billing through the company’s online billing software and assist with basic accounting and documentation work.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with computers, billing software and Excel, with good attention to detail and accuracy.

Department: Accounts & Billing

Reports To: Accounts Department / Management

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Billing

Prepare daily sales invoices using the company’s online billing software.
Enter customer orders and billing information accurately.
Verify product quantities, rates, discounts, VAT and total invoice amounts.
Make corrections in bills when required after proper approval.
Maintain proper records of sales invoices.
Coordinate with the sales and dispatch teams regarding billing and order requirements.
Ensure timely completion of daily billing work.

2. Basic Accounting Work

Assist the accounts team with day-to-day accounting entries.
Record sales, purchases, receipts and payment transactions.
Assist with customer ledger maintenance.
Assist in monitoring customer outstanding balances.
Prepare basic collection and outstanding reports.
Assist with bank, cash and petty cash entries.
Maintain proper supporting documents and vouchers.
Assist in reconciliation and other routine accounting tasks.

3. Excel & Data Entry

Maintain Excel reports and records.
Prepare basic sales and collection reports.
Ensure accuracy of data entered into the billing/accounting system.
Maintain organised digital and physical records.

4. Coordination

Coordinate with sales, warehouse, delivery and accounts teams.
Resolve basic billing discrepancies in coordination with the concerned department.
Report any billing or accounting errors to the senior accounts team.
Assist management/accounts team with routine reports and documentation.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Comfortable using computers and online software.
Good typing and data-entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good numerical and calculation skills.
Responsible and organised.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under daily billing deadlines.

Education & Experience

Minimum +2 in Management/Commerce/Accounting; Bachelor’s degree in BBS, BBA, Accounting or related field preferred.
1–3 years of relevant experience in billing/accounts preferred.
Experience with accounting or online billing software will be an advantage.
Freshers with good accounting knowledge and computer skills may also be considered.
