We are urgently seeking a highly capable Purchase Officer to lead our procurement operations and support our sales activities. The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. This is a critical role to ensure smooth procurement, timely delivery, and market coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary – Procurement & Purchase:

Lead procurement of materials and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize value for the company.
Monitor inventory and procurement processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Secondary – Sales Support:

Assist the Sales team in client interactions and market coordination outside Chitwan.
Support creation of social media content and perform basic video editing for promotional or product-related materials.
Report market trends, customer feedback, and competitor insights to management.
Provide on-ground support to ensure alignment between procurement and sales operations.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

A bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (FMCG, retail, or food products preferred).
Proven track record of successful vendor management and negotiation.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of sales processes and client interactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel frequently to markets outside Chitwan.

Preferred Attributes:

Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent requirements.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams effectively.
