Roles and responsibilities of this job

Teaching & Learning:

Plan and deliver engaging Nepali language lessons aligned with Nepali curriculum and IB framework.
Integrate inquiry-based and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Foster a love for the Nepali language and culture through creative and interactive activities.

Curriculum Development:

Develop lesson plans incorporating listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Use a variety of resources, including technology, to enhance language learning.

Assessment & Reporting:

Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments.
Maintain records and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Participate in student-led conferences and parent meetings.

Classroom Environment & Management:

Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage student participation and inquiry-based discussions.
Implement essential agreements and classroom management strategies.

Professional Development & Collaboration:

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development.
Participate in school events, workshops, and community engagement activities.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nepali, Education, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience
Experience in inquiry-based and student-centered learning.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication skills in Nepali and English.
Creativity in lesson planning and student engagement.
Effective classroom management and collaborative mindset.
