Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and experienced Secondary Level Nepali Teacher to join Phaplu Community Secondary School (Zeke O'Connor School). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective Nepali instruction, supporting students' academic development, preparing assessments, and contributing to the school's academic and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

Teach assigned Nepali subject for the secondary level
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and examination materials
Support students' academic progress and examination preparation
Participate in school academic activities and professional development programs
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university (Bachelor’s degree may be considered with strong teaching experience)
Teaching License issued by the Teacher Service Commission (TSC), Nepal (preferred)
Sound knowledge of the national curriculum

Experience & Skills

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and command with effective teaching and communication skills
Strong classroom management and student mentoring skills
Ability to use ICT tools and modern teaching methodologies and pedagogies
