Plant Manager shall be responsible
for:
- Overall planning,
organizing, coordination, supervision and control of the overall
O&M activities of the Hydropower Plants to ensure uninterrupted power
generation
- Ensuring operation
of power plant including Headworks, switchyards, transmission line and
Inter-connecting substation according to procedures and safety
requirements and standards
- Direct operations,
maintenance, or repair of hydroelectric power facilities to shift
operators
- Planning,
scheduling and timely execution of the Preventive and corrective
Maintenance of the Power Plants
- Shall be actively
coordinating operation with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Load
Dispatch Center (LDC) & Department of Electricity Development
(DOED) based on requirement
- Maintain records of
hydropower facility operations, maintenance, or repairs as per NEA
approved plant operating procedure
- Develop or review
budgets, annual plans, power contracts, power rates, standing operating
procedures, power reviews, or engineering studies
- Develop or
implement policy evaluation procedures for hydropower generation
activities
- Communication and Coordination
with the Head office
- Provide technical direction in
the erection or commissioning of hydropower equipment or supporting
electrical or mechanical systems
- Respond to problems related to
water users, government agencies, or other stakeholders
- Identify and communicate power
system emergencies
