A successful PHP Developer candidate will possess the following skills and
experience:

• Expert level HTML & CSS skills.
• 3+ years demonstrated development experience with hand coding advanced HTML5, CSS3, MySQL 5, and PHP 5.
• High confidence in your skill set and 3+ years’ experience with Varnish, Apache/Nginx, SaSS jQuery, Capistrano, git/github.
• 3+ years of experience with WordPress and actively involved in 
• the WordPress community as a contributor, e.g., Plugin or 
• Theme Developer, Codex Contributor, Bug Submitter/Patcher, etc.
• Must have full mastery of development of both plugins and themes using “hidden” WordPress APIs as well as the welldocumented ones.
• Must have experience with custom post types, custom taxonomies, customization of the WP Administrator panel’s user interface.
• Prefer individuals with a web agency background.
• Experience with localization is a plus.
• Experience with WordPress multi-site is a bonus.
• You are a cross-browser master and understand current open 
• standards.
• Ability to monitor site technical performance and web server 
• environment.
• Experience working in a PC environment, but have heard of MACs before.
• Database experience.
• Design skills are a plus.
• Some experience with Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop & Video/Audio editing software would be an added bonus.
