About the job

About This Role:

As a People Operations Intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our overall People Operations functions. This includes tasks such as data management, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and handling day-to-day operational responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other members of the People Operations Team and provide assistance wherever needed. Join us and gain hands-on experience in the essential aspects of People Operations while contributing to our team's success.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support the recruitment process including resume uploads and candidate communication
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule and arrange interviews
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize recruitment processes and improve efficiency
  • Assist in maintaining employee records and databases to ensure data integrity and facilitate communication
  • Oversee documentation and clearance procedures for exiting employees
  • Provide support in insurance management, including form submissions and liaison with insurance providers
  • Manage documentations and necessary ad hoc reports
  • Provide support in coordinating training sessions and company events
  • Provide support in research activities aimed at improving employee journey at EB Pearls
  • Provide support in designing social media posts and contribute to the planning process

Expected Strengths and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-learn and research
  • Inquisitive, determined and diligent
  • Good communication skills
  • Zeal towards learning new things and towards growing in one’s career
  • Exposure in designing tools such as Canva and other tools
