Job Description

A Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts and supplies for an organization. Their job duties may include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, and ensuring that parts are readily available to meet customer needs.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reordering parts as needed to avoid stock shortages.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and delivery times.
  • Overseeing the receiving and storage of parts, and ensuring that inventory is properly organized and accounted for.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support and guidance related to parts and supplies.
  • Analyzing sales trends and data to identify areas for improvement and growth in the parts business.
  • Managing the budget and expenses associated with the parts department.
  • Mentoring and training team members to improve their knowledge and skills related to parts and supplies.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong leadership and organizational skills, experience in parts management, knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, and a track record of successful inventory management.
