Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a Paddy Purchase Executive responsible for procuring paddy from farmers, traders, and mandis while ensuring required quality standards. The role involves extensive fieldwork, frequent travel, and real-time data updates related to purchases, vendors, and market rates.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase paddy from farmers, traders, and vendors as per company requirements
Identify, develop, and maintain reliable vendor and farmer networks
Inspect and ensure paddy quality, moisture content, and grading standards
Negotiate prices and finalize purchase terms
Coordinate with transporters for timely delivery to the factory
Maintain accurate purchase records, bills, and vendor documentation
Update purchase data, stock details, and reports digitally from any location
Monitor market rates, availability, and seasonal trends of paddy
Ensure compliance with company quality norms and procurement policies

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education Level: UnderGraduate (Bachelor’s Degree)

Experience Required:

Minimum Experience: More than 1 year in procurement or related field
Prior experience in a rice mill, agro-commodity, or agricultural procurement will be a strong advantage

Requirements:

Experience in paddy/rice procurement or agro-commodity purchasing preferred
Good understanding of paddy quality parameters, moisture levels, and grading
Ability to maintain and update purchase data from anywhere, anytime
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word for record keeping and reporting
Willingness to travel extensively and work in a mobile/on-field role
Ability to work independently and make on-field decisions
Basic communication and coordination skills
