Reporting to: Finance Director
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00 pm
Objective/Purpose of the Position:
The Operations Officer will work together with Finance Director and Finance Officer and will primarily be responsible for managing day to day operation of the organisation. S/he will support for smooth implementation of Girl’s Education Challenge project ensuring alignment between Street Child of Nepal’s operational and administrative functions. He or she will drive strategic depth across the organisation through implementation of efficient systems and processes, record keeping, data management, stakeholder management and building a sound operational and administrative functions.

Street Child is an international charity based in the United Kingdom that aims to create avenues for out-of- school children to access education by through an integrated approach that strengthens the capacity of teachers, schools and communities to sustain their investment in the education for their children.
Following the devastating earthquakes in April and May 2015 that left more than 1 million children out of school and destroyed or damaged over 50,000 classrooms, Street Child UK expanded its operations into Nepal to assist local partners to re-establish education in some of the country’s worst affected communities.
With the support of DFID, it is now implementing education and livelihood program targeting marginalized girls in Mahottari, Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari and Sunsari districts in Nepal.Street Child of Nepal is therefore calling applications in following position for the implementation of its new program:
