Operations Head at an aged care center is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure high-quality, compliant resident care and smooth workflow. The duties include managing staff and performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving service quality, and managing budgets. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to creating a safe and positive environment for residents.

Job Description:

Maintain and update operational data, reports, and documents.
Coordinate with aligned departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Address any issues or delays in operational processes and provide effective solutions.
Monitor key operational metrics and report discrepancies or issues to management.
Assist in process improvement projects by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
Manage, coach, and motivate the operations team to achieve high performance standards.
Support staff development and build a positive, high-performing culture.
Monitor and improve the quality of care and resident services to meet or exceed standards.
Implement and manage quality improvement programs and action plans.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Manage and monitor budgets, forecast financial performance.
Drive optimal business outcomes and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic objectives.
Develop and implement change management programs for operational effectiveness and digital transformation.
Analyze information from various sources to identify problems and implement improved work practices.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to market services and build relationships.
Strong leadership, human resource management, and coaching skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of health care models and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, improve processes, and manage multiple demands.
Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in health care sector.
Commitment to the organization's ethics and values.
Regulating all aligned daily operating departments.
