N. Y.D. International Logistics is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to fill the role of Operation assistant. We are a leading Logistics company and are looking for someone with the right qualifications and attitude to join our team.

Responsibilities

Monitor, manage, and follow up on shipments from China to Nepal, including both cargo and documents, on a daily basis.
Check documents from the shipper, if any mistake shall inform them to revise timely.
Contact with indian / Nepali suppliers for trailer, port handling and customs clearance arrangement.
Coordinate with the customer for necessary logistics support such as government policy consulting, assistance for LC opening, customs clearance solution, document verification, etc.
Contact different government departmnet and apply for duty free letter, non-payment model and various letters.
In charge all procedures, ensure cargo safety delivery to the jobsite without documentation problems.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Supervise all parties until collect clean POD (proof of delivery) from the customer

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Candidates should have a Bachelor degree or above
Honest, responsible, energetic and hard-working characters
Fluently English speaking and writing; good communication skills
Basic knowledge of international trade or international logistics by road, ocean and air
Having international trade knowledge and logistics is a plus
Basic computer skills, especially for office software like word, excel
Time management efficient

Special Requirement:

Having own motorcycle is needed.
Frequently, business trips all around Nepal for cargo handling, delivery, and offloading purposes.
Candidates who can join immediately are preferred
