Position: Accounts Assistant
Department: Accounts and Finance

Reports To: Accounts Officer / Finance Manager

Precious Waste Refinery Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support its daily accounting and financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with tax compliance, and supporting financial reporting to ensure smooth and efficient financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records, including cashbooks, ledgers, journals, and financial vouchers.
Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, payment receipts, and other accounting documents.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on payments.
Maintain cash and bank records and perform regular bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparing VAT returns, TDS records, and other tax-related documents in accordance with applicable Nepalese regulations.
Record purchases, inventory movements, transportation costs, and operational expenses related to recycling and refining activities.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, expense statements, and account summaries.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and supporting records.
Support internal and external audits and assist with month-end and year-end account closing.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, VAT, and TDS.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting software such as Tally.
Freshers may apply; prior experience in accounting or finance will be an advantage.
Good numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
