Roles and responsibilities of this job
Executive Search of Merojob on behalf of our client is actively seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer – IT Security. The role is responsible for supporting security architecture, infrastructure protection, and compliance initiatives while ensuring the organization maintains a strong cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to manage security operations, server environments, and risk mitigation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deploy security patches across systems and devices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing (VAPT).
Ensure compliance with security policies and assist in audits.
Administer and maintain DNS infrastructure (public/private).
Manage ADFS and support SSO authentication services.
Prepare security reports, dashboards, and documentation.
Administer Linux/Windows servers (updates, hardening, monitoring).
Support SIEM implementation and SOC operations (log monitoring, incident response).
Participate in security projects and tool evaluations.
Job Specification
Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in IT Security, Infrastructure, or Systems Administration.
Strong understanding of Windows/Linux environments, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with VAPT tools, patching tools, and monitoring platforms.
Knowledge of DNS, ADFS, identity management, and authentication systems.
Familiarity with SIEM solutions, logs, incident response, and SOC workflows.
Certifications such as CEH, Security+, Linux+, or similar are an advantage.
