Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

To drive and manage the Finance and Accounts department of Tara International Pvt. Ltd and IT Venture Nepal Pvt Ltd, both sister concerns. The individual need to be able to independently manage and drive the department.

The individual must be able to work in a team and efficiently and effectively collaborate with both senior management and team to carry out daily tasks and activities related to accounts and finance.

He / She must be able to understand accounting, financial reporting and prepare balance sheet and P&L of the company. The individual must have a fair idea on taxation and be able to liaise with auditor and tax authorities to resolve tax related tasks and issues.

The key responsibilities of the individual will include the following:

  • Manage and drive the Accounts department
  • Be able to understand and carry reconciliation, pass vouchers, entries and prepare financials of the company
  • Be able to handle tax and audit related duties efficiently and effectively
  • Able to understand and handle entries, vouchers and accounts and finance related reporting
  • Must be able to handle staff related payroll accounting and entries.
  • Able to handle bank related tasks and reconciliation
  • Effectively liaise and collaborate with senior management and the team down the line to manage day to day affairs and activities of the company
  • Be able to live the general values of the company and ethically and morally discharge his/her duties
