Roles and responsibilities of this job

To contribute on the profitability of company by increasing the volume of category sale, by improving the speed of inventory turnover in the category and by satisfying the consumer and shopper needs.

Key Result Areas:

To achieve the Inventory Turnover Ratio as directed by the B&M Head.
Achieving best GIMROF for the given category
To achieve the Strategic Objectives set out for the category.
To motivate, develop and train the category executive and buyer to the best standards.
To pro-actively contribute in the formulation and implementation of category strategy with the Operations
To design and implement the management of promotion activities in order to maintain high satisfaction levels to the targeted customers.
To have the regular vendor meeting. To make the vendor aware about our category strategy and convert vendor to mutually work with us
To communicate clearly to the vendor community and solve their difficulties being adhere with the company policies
To work closely with the finance regarding the vendor payments, extra margins, vendor reconciliations, vendor closure
To work with the SCM team by providing the in advance buying plans, ensuring stocks are available at the stores based on the master file and category plans.
Maintain Vendor wise, category wise and Brand wise margin file and negotiation file

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education & Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field

Experiences: 1–2 years of experience in Health & Beauty, Cosmetics, and/or Household category; e- commerce experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel (intermediate preferred)
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability
Effective communication with strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach, ownership, and initiative
Good leadership and team management capability
Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in work
Good knowledge of Health & Beauty (H&B),Cosmetic, and Household (H&H) products
Result-oriented with a focus on achieving targets
Able to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel frequently for store visits and vendor meetings.

Mandatory Requirement:

Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license with two-wheeler vehicle
