Roles and responsibilities of this job

This is a project-based position to support the implementation of the Education and Birth Registration project in Kathmandu. The position holder is expected to spend frequent visits to project sites across Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain all the documents and results of the projects using the MEAL framework based on TOCAP.
Support project implementation by providing training, and regular monitoring visits to project sites in Kathmandu and occasional monitoring visits to other project sites across Nepal.
Timely collection and analysis of project data and preparation of periodic reports.
Prepare review reports and provide inputs.
Work closely with the senior staff for M&E of projects.
Provide support in preparing the communication materials for the projects.
Management of evaluations and other assessment reports (internal and external) including drafting Terms of Reference
Collect periodic outcome level data and information and provide analysis.
Lead the learning component of the project-learn, share and communicate with concerned stakeholders for sustaining impact, visibility and adaptation of the project components.
Carry projects annual project survey in line with the target and monitoring of TOCAP
A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in the field of monitoring, evaluation, or project management with I/NGOs, preferably in children and child rights projects.
Strong skills in programmatic data analysis, report writing, and documentation.
Fluent in English and Nepali (speaking and writing)
Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
