Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator- 1 Position

Terms and Location: 3 years fixed term employment with possibility of extension based in Country Office, Lalitpur.
Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science (Research) or in relevant field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in health programme and/or development projects particularly in designing M&E plans.
  • Adept at synthesizing large amounts of data and information, and distilling it in ways that enable practical action and informed decision‐making at all levels.
  • Should be familiar with sampling techniques, qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis, and M&E systems.
  • INGO work experience preferred.
  • Experienced in using statistical, analytical, database and other standard software i.e. Epi Info, Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS, etc.
  • Excellent Communication and report writing skills both in English and Nepali languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare M&E framework/plan for each and every country programme and project before programme/project start date
  • Orientation on M&E framework is provided to all concerned programme/project staff within a quarter of programme/project start date
  • Timely collection, sharing and use of data are ensured
  • Administer programme module of SAP (PPM) system and orient/ train all its users
  • Generate the MIS report, analyse and shared with all concerns
  • Update projects’ trackers including progress and spending regularly
  • Maintain and analyse disaggregated database of people reached by Plan programmes/projects is updated on a quarterly basis
  • Programme data required by SWC and Ministry of Finance is collated/uploaded on a quarterly basis
  • Strengthen the capacity of partners (GO, NGO, CBOs) in M&E and also strengthen Plan’s accountability towards children
