Other Specification
  • Must have qualified as Health Assistant/Staff Nurse (PCL level) as a minimum with at least 3 years of work experience in GoN/Private hospitals/Health Posts/Primary Healthcare centres
  • Must be registered with Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Nursing Council
  • Sound knowledge and skills in basic medicine and pharmacology
  • Good written communication skills in English and Nepali

Job Description

The position is responsible for the management of the basic clinic facilities in the AWCs, including consulting, examinations, procedures for visiting pensioners and dispensing medicine under the guidance of GWT doctors; and home visits to pensioners within the AOR of the AWCs. She will particularly visit vulnerable pensioners identified from each AWC and provide comprehensive assessments and primary care treatment.
