Job Description

  • Conducting research to identify potential customers and understand their needs
  • Visiting healthcare providers, such as doctors and pharmacists, to present information about the company's products and answer questions
  • Providing product samples and other materials to healthcare providers
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest medical and scientific information related to the company's products
  • Tracking sales data and reporting back to the company on the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Participating in continuing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on new products and industry developments
  • Medical representatives typically work a standard workweek, but may be required to work additional hours or travel frequently to meet with clients. They may also be required to attend industry conferences and trade shows
