Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Supervise mechanical maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and equipment.
Coordinate with engineering teams for project planning and execution.
Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Collaborate with procurement to source necessary parts and materials.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

Note: These positions are for the following hydropower projects:

Kabeli 3 Hydropower Project (HPP) - 21.93 MW
Super Kabeli Khola A HPP - 13.5 MW
Super Kabeli Khola Cascade HPP - 12 MW

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
At least 1 year of experience in operations, maintenance, or erection of mechanical systems in a hydropower plant
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and safety practices
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
