New Technical Waterproofing & Infra Rehabilitation Pvt. Ltd. (NTWPIR) is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead project planning, cost estimation, contract administration, execution, and site coordination for infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and contractual requirements while providing technical leadership and supporting effective project management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Cost Estimation

Prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and resource cost estimates after tender award and prior to project execution.
Analyze project requirements and prepare project budgets and cost forecasts.
Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to ensure accurate estimation.
Evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality and specifications.

2. Material Utilization & Cost Control

Monitor and verify the proper utilization of materials supplied to project sites.
Compare material consumption with actual work progress and identify variances.
Review material reconciliation statements and monitor wastage.
Coordinate with procurement and store personnel to ensure timely material availability.

3. Project Planning, Execution & Coordination

Plan, supervise, and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within approved schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities for smooth project execution.
Resolve technical, contractual, and site-related issues in coordination with all stakeholders.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and provide technical guidance.

4. Measurement, Billing & Quantity Verification

Review and verify measurement sheets prepared by site engineers.
Verify quantities executed at site before submission of client and subcontractor bills.
Ensure that all billing is supported by proper measurements, approved drawings, and contractual provisions.
Review IPCs, final bills, extra work measurements, and quantity variations.

5. Contract Administration, Claims & EOT

Study and administer contract documents, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
Prepare, review, and submit contractual claims, variation orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT) requests, and additional cost claims.
Maintain complete records, supporting documents, and correspondence required for contractual claims and dispute resolution.
Draft official letters, technical correspondences, notices, reports, and contractual communications.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual and commercial matters.

6. Project Financial Monitoring

Monitor project costs, budgets, expenditures, and overall financial performance.
Prepare project completion reports, cost analysis, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective measures to improve project profitability.
Assist management in project financial planning and cash flow monitoring.

7. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Verify workmanship and ensure corrective actions are implemented whenever required.
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, project specifications, and company policies.
Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, and project documentation.

8. Site Verification & Reporting

Visit project sites regularly to verify work progress, executed quantities, material utilization, and billing records.
Verify physical progress for billing, certification, and management reporting purposes.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for management.
Maintain complete project records and documentation.

9. Resource Management

Monitor the effective utilization of manpower, machinery, equipment, and project resources.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Identify resource shortages and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

10. Risk Management & Problem Solving

Identify technical, commercial, and operational risks that may affect project performance.
Recommend practical engineering solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and project risks.
Assist management in resolving disputes and project-related issues.

11. Team Leadership & Technical Support

Provide technical guidance, supervision, and mentoring to site engineers, junior engineers, and project staff.
Review engineering calculations, technical submissions, and site reports prepared by project teams.
Promote effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

12. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

Ensure project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Promote safe working practices and ensure implementation of company safety policies.
Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective measures.

13. General Responsibilities

Perform any other engineering, technical, contractual, or project management duties assigned by management.
Maintain confidentiality of company information, project documents, financial records, and contractual data.
Represent the company professionally during meetings, inspections, and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil). A Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (M.E./M.Sc.) will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in construction project management, estimation and costing, quantity surveying, measurement and billing, contract administration, preparation and management of Variation Orders (VO), contractual claims, price escalation claims, and site coordination.
Sound knowledge of the mode of measurement of all construction activities like labor productivity, materials consumption factors, rate analysis, and reconciliation.
High initiative and self-motivated, ability to work independently.

Location: Field-based
Vehicle License Compulsory.
