InfraPro Construction is seeking a qualified, young, dedicated, and competent Mechanical Fitter to support hydropower plant mechanical installation, operation, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of contributing positively to the Company’s strategy of consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical installation, assembly, dismantling, alignment, maintenance, and repair of hydropower plant equipment.
Support turbine and generator assembly, dismantling, inspection, alignment, and maintenance works.
Install, align, inspect, and maintain shafts, couplings, bearings, seals, and other mechanical components.
Carry out maintenance of turbine auxiliary systems, including lubrication, cooling, drainage, compressed air, and hydraulic systems.
Assist with shutdown maintenance, planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repair activities.
Diagnose mechanical faults, identify causes of equipment issues, and support timely troubleshooting and corrective action.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.
Ensure mechanical work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications, maintenance procedures, and quality requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, work areas, and records related to mechanical maintenance activities.
Coordinate effectively with Mechanical Engineers, E&M technicians, supervisors, and other team members to achieve work targets.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Minimum Qualification: Technical/Vocational training or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Fitting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in hydropower plant mechanical installation, operation, and maintenance.
Hydropower Experience: Hands-on experience in hydropower plant mechanical works, preferably with Francis turbine units.
Experience in turbine and generator assembly, dismantling, alignment, and maintenance.
Experience with turbine auxiliaries, including lubrication, cooling, drainage, compressed air, and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge and practical experience in shaft, coupling, bearing, seal, and mechanical component installation/alignment.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and equipment manuals.
Experience in shutdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance of hydropower equipment.
Ability to work effectively with Mechanical Engineers, E&M technicians, and team members.
