Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Tac Hydro is an engineering consultancy with 50+ professionals working in the energy and infrastructure sector. We are looking for an experienced Admin and HR Officer to lead our administration and people functions and help build a well-organized, people-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources

Manage the full recruitment process: job postings, screening, interview coordination, offer letters, and employment contracts.
Run onboarding for new joiners, including induction, document collection, mentor or buddy assignment and probation tracking.
Maintain employee records, job descriptions and personnel files.
Support the annual and mid-year performance appraisal process, including KPI tracking and evaluation records.
Handle staff queries and grievances with confidentiality and escalate them where required.
Coordinate staff training and development programs.
Coordinate CIT, SSF/Gratuity and insurance enrolment and claims.
Ensure compliance with the Labour Act, SSF rules, and company policies.

Administration

Lead and supervise the administration team and support staff.
Oversee attendance and leave records.
Process Travel Order Forms and coordinate with Finance on timely TADA and allowance claims.
Provide HR inputs to Finance for payroll.
Draft and circulate internal memos, notices and policy updates.
Oversee day-to-day office administration, including office supplies, assets, facilities, vendors and support services.
Organize and coordinate company events and employee engagement activities and organizational programs such as TAC Day.
Maintain systematic and accessible digital and physical records, ensuring proper filing and document control.
Oversee the company's social media pages, including content planning, posting schedule and quality of all published content.
Promote TAC as an employer through job postings, team highlights, events and project milestones.
Review and approve social media content before posting, in line with company confidentiality policy.
Support the implementation and effective use of HRMS, attendance systems and other administrative tools.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, reduce inefficiencies and strengthen internal coordination.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

BBA or equivalent (MBA or HR specialization preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably at a consulting or engineering firm.
Working knowledge of the Nepal Labour Act and SSF.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRMS or ERP is a plus.
Experience in handling social media pages is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills, with discretion in handling confidential information.
