Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee our Textile Dyeing & Processing Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in textile dyeing and processing operations, combined with proven leadership skills to manage labor, resources, and production targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete textile dyeing and processing operations to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
Manage and supervise labor teams, maintaining discipline and productivity.
Ensure timely procurement and effective utilization of raw materials, chemicals, and machinery.
Monitor production targets, maintain operational standards, and ensure optimum efficiency.
Enforce strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement process improvements for better output.
Collaborate with senior management to align production with organizational goals.
Handle maintenance, servicing, and repair of all machines in the dyeing & processing unit.
Maintain records of maintenance schedules and machine performance.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in the textile dyeing & processing industry.
Strong technical knowledge of dyeing processes, machinery, and production systems.
Proven experience in labor management and operational supervision.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
