Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Interior Design and Furniture Manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, team coordination, client communication, factory operations, and overall business operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily office, project, and operational activities.
Coordinate with clients regarding interior design, fit-out, and furniture execution projects.
Supervise designers, site supervisors, project teams, and factory personnel.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
Prepare and review quotations, BOQs, project reports, and operational documentation.
Coordinate procurement activities, vendor management, and inventory requirements.
Conduct client meetings, project follow-ups, and progress reviews.
Ensure smooth coordination between office, site, and factory operations.
Monitor project costs, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
Report directly to the Managing Director and support strategic business operations.
Take responsibility for overall operational management in the absence of the Managing Director.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, MBA, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, construction, interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or related industries.
Preference for Civil Engineers and Interior Project Managers with 5–10 years of experience.
Proven experience in team leadership, project coordination, and operational management.

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction/interior drawings.
Familiarity with SketchUp, project management software, or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, interior fit-out works, and construction project workflows.

Language Requirements:

Excellent communication skills in Nepali.
Good written and spoken English with the ability to prepare professional emails, reports, and proposals.

Note: Candidates must have a valid driving license to operate a 2 wheller .
