Project: MCHN

Project Working Areas: former Narayanpur, Dhansingpur, Lalbhoji and Bhajani VDC of Kailali district

Under direct supervision of the Project Coordinator the role of  MEAL officer will be:  

  • To collect, compile, analyse and verify the information collected from community in a way that provides accurate and valid information and database
  • To provide necessary support to WVIN for periodic baseline, evaluation and monitoring process in the assigned program areas
  • To improve the quality of programmes and information management through improved monitoring and accountability system in the programme areas; 

Term & Location: Fixed term position and will be based in Tikapur office with 30% time in field visit

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies in the field relevant to M&E

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competency

  • Data collection méthodologies – qualitative and quantitative
  • Effective written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Develop tools to collect the information against indicator
  • Ability to work under pressure

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working  with NGO/INGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation and accountability sector
