Job Description

As the Admission & Marketing officer, the Employee will have to perform the following duties and responsibilities.

  • Inquiries, Interviews and Admission- Organize and implement in an effective and efficient manner all inquiries and processes related to student admission:
  • Plan and run school tours for visiting families and potential students and staff.
  • Organizing a welcome program for new families clarifying the structure, timings and other details.
  • Process new student applications including obtaining and storing student paperwork.
  • Ensure all admission/students records are complete, up to date and uploaded on the school database.
  • Manage all inquiry and admissions related correspondence, and communicate information to relevant staff.
  • Compile and send out follow up emails/letters including thank you notes for school visits.
  • Draft and send out written correspondence to parents acknowledging receipt of any admission related fees after confirming with relevant team members.
  • Verify and maintain documentation (such as academic report cards, transfer certificate, character certificate, etc.) regarding school enrollment and medical reports.
  • Compile paperwork for students leaving the school such as attendance letters, reports, reference letters, fees clearance and exit form with coordination with academic and administrative departments.
  • Arrange and provide new students with relevant school supplies (ID Cards, school calendar admission document package, etc.)
  • Communications and Marketing - Ensure the school maintains a high profile Nationally
  • Inter-Nationally by applying comprehensive, innovative and effective marketing knowledge and skills
  • Build and connect with new "points of contact for promotional activities and material development.
  • Compile and maintain email databases of current as well as potential parents and students for the purpose of online campaigns. Be responsible for the creation and update of all promotional materials of the school.
  • Liaise closely with IT and Heads of respective academic programmes to develop and maintain social media sites.
  • Collect testimonials from school visits, social media response and school website and provide those to the IT department on a regular basis for updates, Simultaneously assess the same for marketing and Admission analysis.
  • Identify and distribute leaflets, newsletters and brochures to suitable external outlets such as business organizations, pre- schools, etc.
  • Develop a monthly program of parent workshop in coordination with The Principal, Vice- Principal or Program Coordinators.
  • Work with Parent Teacher Association (PTA)/ Business Association's such as District Chambers, FNCCI alike to develop relationships that will aloe the school to make links with wider community.
  • Log and maintain a record of any operational and administrative complaints regarding the school from parents and how they were dealt with.
  • Disseminating the branding message (may be through social media, digital media, TVCs, Prospectus distribution in target market, target communities, organizations, towns, etc) of KWS to each and every education conscious parents. Reiterating Kathmandu World School's vision/reputation as an International standard School in Nepal.
  • Effective reach to target people, target places, communities like Marwari community and similar
  • Focus on potential parent care visiting Kathmandu World School by planning requirements, services, segregating a defined system and for implementation working closely with relevant departments to impress and achieve a high ratio of conversion.
