Samaj Dental Hospital is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, result-oriented, and dynamic Dental Hospital Manager to lead and manage the overall operations and performance of the hospital.

The Hospital Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, effective staff management, patient satisfaction, service quality, sales performance, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and overall hospital development. The position requires strong analytical and leadership capabilities to assess hospital performance, identify operational gaps, analyze patient trends, and implement effective strategies for sustainable growth.

The Hospital Manager will work closely with the Director and provide regular reports, performance updates, analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall daily operations and performance of the Dental Hospital.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve hospital sales, patient, collection, and revenue targets.
Monitor hospital revenue, patient flow, treatment conversion, collection, expenses, and overall business performance.
Analyze patient data and trends, including:
Number of patients visiting the hospital
New and returning patients
Patient sources and geographical locations
Referral and walk-in patients
Department-wise and doctor-wise patient flow
Reasons for increases or decreases in patient numbers
Treatment acceptance and conversion performance
Patient retention and follow-up performance
Identify the causes of declining patient flow, revenue, or service performance and develop appropriate improvement plans.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic operational and business performance reports to the Director.
Conduct regular performance analysis and provide strategic recommendations for hospital growth.
Set departmental and individual performance targets and monitor progress.
Work actively on patient growth, revenue enhancement, service expansion, and overall hospital development.
Coordinate with the Marketing Department to develop and implement effective campaigns, promotional activities, outreach programs, referral initiatives, and patient acquisition strategies.
Monitor the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing and promotional activities.
Ensure excellent patient experience, service quality, and timely resolution of patient complaints and concerns.
Supervise and manage all hospital staff, including clinical, administrative, reception, customer service, support, and operational teams.
Ensure proper staff discipline, attendance, duty rosters, leave management, productivity, accountability, and performance.
Conduct regular staff meetings and provide guidance, coaching, motivation, and performance feedback.
Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, manpower planning, employee performance, training, staff retention, and disciplinary matters.
Ensure effective coordination among doctors, dental hygienists, assistants, receptionists, laboratory personnel, and administrative staff.
Monitor doctor-wise and department-wise performance while maintaining professional and ethical healthcare standards.
Ensure proper management of appointments, patient records, OPD flow, treatment plans, follow-ups, and patient coordination.
Ensure the proper availability, utilization, maintenance, and safeguarding of dental equipment, instruments, materials, medicines, and other hospital resources.
Monitor inventory, stock consumption, material usage, and operational expenses in coordination with the Store and Accounts Departments.
Ensure proper implementation of infection prevention, sterilization, cleanliness, patient safety, and quality-control standards.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standard operating procedures, legal requirements, licensing requirements, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Monitor hospital facilities and ensure that all departments, equipment, and services operate efficiently.
Identify operational risks, service gaps, staff-related issues, and improvement opportunities and take timely corrective action.
Develop annual and periodic operational plans, growth strategies, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with the Director and provide accurate and timely reports.
Perform other managerial duties assigned by the Director.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience, preferably in a hospital, dental hospital, healthcare institution, or service-oriented organization.
Proven experience in hospital operations, team leadership, sales performance, revenue growth, and business development.
Strong knowledge of hospital operations, patient service management, and healthcare service delivery.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret patient, sales, revenue, collection, and operational data.
Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
Ability to set targets, monitor performance, and lead teams toward measurable results.
Strong understanding of patient acquisition, retention, treatment conversion, and revenue growth strategies.
Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, business analyses, and improvement plans.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with hospital management systems, CRM, or healthcare software will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple departments, and take ownership of overall hospital performance.
High level of professionalism, accountability, integrity, and result-oriented leadership.
Must have a bike and a valid driving license.
