Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for overseeing sales activities within a defined geographic area. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building relationships with clients, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies. The ASM serves as a bridge between the Regional Sales Manager and the on-ground sales team, ensuring smooth operations and consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Management

Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed the area’s revenue goals.
Drive the promotion and sale of pathology lab services and diagnostic solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare and diagnostics sector.

2. Team Supervision

Manage and guide the on-ground sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective measures when needed.

3. Market Development

Build strong relationships with key clients, including hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competition, and potential opportunities.
Represent the company in local trade events and customer meetings to promote services.

4. Operational Excellence

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery to clients.
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements.

5. Customer Relationship Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the area, addressing their needs and concerns.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.

6. Promotional Activity pre plan & Execution

CME (Continuous Medical Education) pre plan inside different departments of hospital
RTM (Round Table Meeting) plan & Execution with different departments of hospital
Weekly CAMP inside local bodies.

7. Key Business Doctor (Most Seen List-MSL) update

Addition of MSL, new Doctor (new Dr. addition)

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical services, with team management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and lead high-performing teams.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Location: Chitwan, Biratnagar and Damak
Additional Requirement: A valid 2 wheelers License
Salary Range: Based in qualification and experience
