  • A recognised Bachelor degree qualification or higher with a proven academic track record.
  • Should possess the ability to effectively communicate in English and Nepali both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent public speaking skills, presentation skills and writing skills
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as a team leader or manager (especially for Australia, UK and Canada bound students  counselling team) in a reputed consultancy based in Nepal or abroad with excellent track record.
  • Should have a wide range of knowledge of international education, education systems of Nepal and other popular student destination countries and visa requirements.
  • Competent in using email, the internet and various computer applications, especially the Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, take leadership roles and contribute innovative ideas when and where necessary. 

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to enable our growth plans.
  • Establish relationships with industry stakeholders, local colleges, clubs, etc. Keep the management informed about activities and actively report on results
  • Lead and motive the team members, and drive the team to achieve specified goals and target.
  • Have previous experience of working in education agency/consultancy business.
  • Able to interpret and explain college and university policies and procedures, prepare orientations, and present academic information to students and parents.
  • Participate in decision-making and activities which contribute to the effective operation.
  • Cooperate and collaborate with other professionals to enhance students' careers and education.
  •  Achieve specified targets on time as agreed.
  • Analyse progress determine eligibility, necessity and resources to progress towards the target.
  • Identify the current and potential needs or problem areas, and refer to the problem, if any, to the immediate supervisor through the proper channel.
  • Check various forms for accuracy such as curriculum changes, visa policy changes, fee schedule changes and update the same in the organisation information system folders/locations.
  • Coordinate with the Academic department to ensure the status of the currently enrolled students in various programs for further counselling.
