Roles and responsibilities of this job

Education Asia is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-oriented Admission Officer to join our Kathmandu Office. The ideal candidate will guide students throughout their study abroad journey by providing accurate information on universities, courses, admission requirements, application procedures, and visa processes. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, a student-focused mindset, and prior experience in an education consultancy or international student recruitment environment

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional counseling and guidance to students regarding study abroad opportunities, university admissions, application procedures, and visa requirements.
Assist students in identifying suitable universities, courses, and study destinations based on their academic qualifications, career aspirations, and financial background.
Manage student applications, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission in accordance with institutional requirements.
Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospective students to convert inquiries into applications and successful admissions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with students, business partners, and partner institutions.
Coordinate with universities and internal teams to facilitate smooth and timely admission processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student inquiries, applications, offers, and admission progress.
Provide timely updates to students regarding application status, admission decisions, and required documentation.
Achieve assigned admission and sales targets in line with organizational objectives.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At-least one-year prior experience in an education consultancy as application, admission officer or counsellor
Strong communication, interpersonal, counselling, and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of international education destinations, university admission procedures, and student visa requirements.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
Proficiency in Student CRM management systems.
