Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations for our projects in Nepal. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, government authorities, banks, and insurance companies, ensuring timely delivery and compliance of all project materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with group offices, clients, and custom agents for smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of project supplies to Nepal sites.
Obtain duty and payment approval letters from clients, customs authorities, IBN, and DOED.
Follow up with banks, insurance companies, IBN, clients, and government ministries for project-related tasks, including project time extensions, master list amendments, bank guarantees (BG), letters of credit (LC), and insurance matters.
Monitor, follow up, and collect trade receivables.
Maintain proper filing and documentation for: Customs files, LC files, BG files, Supply and construction files, Insurance files.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or project coordination in an EPC/MNC environment will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and project compliance.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary: NPR 40,000 – 70,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
