Logistics Coordinator- 4 Positions

Purpose: The position holder will be responsible to ensure procurement, logistics and administrative supports in compliance with Plan International Nepal’s policies and procedures for smooth functioning the programme operations.

Term and Location: Fixed term employment for 3 years for Banke Programme Unit based in Nepalgunj, Morang/Sunsari Programme Unit based in Biratnagar, Makwanpur/Rautahat Programme Unit based in Hetauda and Sindhuli Programme Unit based in Sindhulimadi.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Business Studies and equivalent.  
  • At least three 3 years relevant working experience in logistics, procurement and fleet management.
  • Must have people management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurements and tendering process.
  • Knowledge of tax laws & by laws.
  • Good knowledge of market and pricing index.
  • INGO work experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and timely operational support for program delivery.
  • Supervise and manage the operations team.
  • Develop a detailed annual procurement plan and submit to Country Office.
  • Act as a security focal person in their Unit.
  • Oversee vehicle and transport management.
  • Ensure staff overtime and leave records are accurate and maintained up-to-date.
  • Liaise with Country HR team to carry out HR related works as and when required.  
  • Ensure fixed assets record is updated with complete information and accuracy at all times.
  • Ensure timely insurance, maintenance and repair of fixed assets, office building and vehicles along with its payment.
