The following are some of the specific requirements:
Familiarity with database analysis tools such as MS Access, MS Excel or other.
Understanding of work process and structure and process mapping tools such as Visio, Smartdraw or other.
Good 3D dimensional and spatial understanding of work spaces, facilities layouts and material flows.
Familiarity with CAD software applications such as AutoCad or compatible.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics or warehousing an advantage.
Educational background in industrial engineering, mathematics or operations research would be most appropriate.
High-level English language skills

The company is seeking a data analyst to work in close collaboration with Director of the Company, based in Ireland, in the analysis of data sets that are used to develop new concepts in the physical configuration and operation of logistics activities such as warehousing and transport in manufacturing and distribution businesses.
The data sets to be analysed are comprised of Item Master databases for product profiles containing product attributes, formats and dimensions as well as transactional databases relating to product movements such as receipts, issues and despatches.
Analysis is carried out to determine both space and labour requirements for new and/or improved logistics operations including facilities layouts, storage equipment selection, optimum work process development and the determination of manpower requirements.
