Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our company. The Legal Associate will support U.S. immigration attorneys by handling immigration case preparation, legal documentation, research, and client management.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with preparation of U.S. immigration petitions and applications (family-based, employment-based, non-immigrant, and immigrant visas)
Draft, review, and organize legal documents, affidavits, petitions, and supporting evidence
Conduct legal research related to U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and policies
Manage case files, deadlines, and document tracking using case management systems
Communicate with clients to collect information, explain document requirements, and provide case updates
Prepare forms for submission to U.S. government agencies such as USCIS, DOS, and EOIR
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all filings and documentation
Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information
Coordinate with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case processing

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; LL.M. is an advantage
Strong interest in U.S. immigration law and legal practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong analytical and legal research skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal documentation tools
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information with professionalism

Note:

Preference will be given to the candidates with legal degree from US university or institution.
U.S Shift NPT 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
