The Leadership Development Manager plays a key role in supporting the leadership growth, learning journey and professional development of Teach For Nepal Fellows and Leadership Development Coordinators (LDCs). Working closely with Head of Training and Community Support, the LDM contribute to the planning, facilitation and continuous improvement of training, mentoring and community support initiatives that strengthen Fellow’s classroom leadership, reflective practice and community engagement.
The role also serves as a Cluster Lead for Fellows placed in Dhanusa, ensuring regular Fellow support in the classroom & community, relationship management with the school community, accountability and contextualized leadership development. This position requires a collaborative and adaptive multitasking professional with strong facilitation, mentoring, stakeholder engagement and safeguarding competencies along with a deep commitment to educational equity and inclusion.

Qualification and Work Experience:
1. Education
- Minimum Master’s degree, preferably in Education, Leadership, Social Sciences, Management, Development Studies, or related fields.
2. Experience- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior experience in training facilitation, leadership development, mentoring, the education sector, or community engagement is preferred.
- Experience working with schools, teachers, youth leadership programs, or underserved communities will be highly valued.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experiential learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fellows’ Learning and Leadership Development
- Support Fellows’ continuous leadership growth through coaching, mentoring, reflective conversations, and regular engagement.
- Conduct school visits and community visits to monitor Fellows’ progress, well-being, and professional development.
- Facilitate leadership development sessions, workshops, learning circles, and reflective spaces for Fellows.
- Support Fellows in strengthening instructional leadership, classroom culture, community engagement, and student-centered practices.
- Provide timely developmental feedback and identify learning gaps and support needs.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with Fellows to ensure accountability toward goals and expectations.
- Support Fellows in developing contextualized solutions for challenges faced within schools and communities.
- Promote safeguarding, inclusion, gender sensitivity, and child protection practices across Fellow engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation, learning records, community reports, and support trackers.
2. Training Facilitation and Program Development
- Support the HOT in planning, designing, coordinating, and facilitating training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Co-facilitate pre-service training, in-service training, community learning spaces, and professional development sessions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training curriculum, facilitation approaches, and learning resources.
- Assist in assessing training effectiveness and collecting participant feedback for quality improvement.
- Support strategic planning and execution of Training and Community Support priorities.
- Coordinate logistics, communication, and learning engagement during training events and program activities.
- Support the development of practical, contextual, and learner-centered training materials.
3. Leadership Development Coordinator (LDC) Learning and Growth
- Support the professional growth and capacity development of LDCs through collaborative learning and mentoring.
- Encourage knowledge-sharing, reflective practice, and a peer-learning culture among LDCs.
- Assist in strengthening the facilitation, coaching, and community engagement capabilities of LDCs.
- Contribute to building alignment and consistency in Fellows support practices across clusters.
4. Cluster Leadership – Dhanusa Fellows
- Serve as the primary Cluster Lead for Fellows placed in Dhanusa.
- Build strong working relationships with schools, local stakeholders, communities, and education partners.
- Coordinate regular community/stakeholders engagement, support mechanisms, and contextual interventions for Fellows.
- Identify community-level opportunities and challenges affecting Fellows’ leadership journey.
- Ensure effective communication between Fellows, schools, communities, and TFN teams.
- Represent Teach For Nepal professionally in community and stakeholder engagements.
5. Organizational Contribution and Values Alignment
