Job Description

Job Purpose: Lead finance and administrative activities in the field offices with the support of Project Coordinator and Finance and Admin Coordinator for achieving the goals and objectives of the project

Contract Type: Full-time engagement for one year with possibility of renewal on annual basis.

Duty Station: Field Offices in Dolpa district.

Project Location: Selected rural municipalities and municipalities in Dolpa district in Karnali Province. Traveling to and within the project site involves extensive walking and living with community members.

Minimum Requirement and Competencies:

  • Has Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration and management with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the field of account, finance and administration management. Freshers are also encouraged to apply
  • Has good knowledge of accounts, accounting system and accounting software such as Tally
  • Has knowledge about Tax, VAT, e-TDS and online/internet banking systems and services
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines also, honest and possessing a high level of integrity
  • Is analytical and committed to enhance cost effectiveness of activities/events and maintain financial health of the project
  • Is proficient in English and Nepali languages- both written and spoken
  • Can live and extensively walk in remote areas for extended periods as necessary
