Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician for a site-based role at the Baguwa Bridge project in Makwanpur. The position involves conducting laboratory and field testing of construction materials such as soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and steel, while ensuring strict quality control standards are maintained.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory and field testing of construction materials including soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
Ensure quality control procedures are properly followed at site.
Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and laboratory records.
Assist engineers in material inspection and quality verification.
Monitor sampling, testing, and storage procedures as per standards.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Coordinate with site engineers regarding test results and material approvals.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization within the laboratory.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Experience: 1–2 Years
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or relevant technical field preferred
Knowledge of construction material testing procedures and standards.
Ability to handle laboratory equipment and testing tools effectively.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
Good reporting, record-keeping, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under site conditions.
Prior experience in road, highway, or bridge projects will be an advantage.
