Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Provide support in the development and implementation of programs and projects, including assisting in the creation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, and best practices to inform program design and decision-making processes.
Assist in the preparation of project documents, reports, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational standards.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including program partners, donors, and beneficiaries, to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
n: Support monitoring and evaluation activities to assess program effectiveness and impact, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing logistics for events or workshops.
Contribute to capacity-building efforts by providing training and technical assistance to program participants and partners as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing program implementation and funding.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments or teams to achieve shared objectives and foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor Degree in social sciences or social work and equivalent
At least 2 years’ experience in the NGO sector
Experienced in child protection and/or rehabilitation programs; especially dealing with survivors (girls) of sexual exploitation
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented person
Superb writing and verbal communication skills in English
Counselling Skills / Social work skills
Time management, administrative and organizational skills
A self-motivated and independent worker
Experienced in partnership building and networking
Advanced knowledge of MS products, particularly Word & Excel

Competencies

Preferably female candidates as the project is for survivors (girls) of sexual exploitation
Proactive, can-do attitude, creative, trustworthy, mission-driven, flexible and common sense
Ability and willingness to travel to other parts of the country where project work is implemented
