Job Description

Responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of the project, ensuring accurate financial reporting, & maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Overseeing the day to day activities of the account department.
Need to close collaboration with other department, auditors, and senior management to provide financial insights and control costs.
Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements, in line with NFRS.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvements.
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure audit readiness.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets with department heads.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system.
Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; having worked in a CA practicing firm previously is an advantage.
3-4 years of proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role, experience in Hydropower operation will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Proficiency in accounting software; experience in Tally systems is desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
