Roles and responsibilities of this job

Smart Link Nepal is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the team in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions, sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, bills, and accounting documents.
Maintain customer, vendor, receivable, and payable records.
Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
Support VAT, TDS, and other tax-related activities.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Support audit and other finance-related activities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
Good knowledge of VAT, TDS, and Nepalese tax regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP preferred).
Experience in billing, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy.
Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
