Roles and responsibilities of this job

Gurukul CA is looking for a highly and proactive Junior Accountant to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and assist with various accounting functions within our institute's financial framework. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting software (specifically Tally), be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and possess excellent multitasking abilities to thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date daybooks, including the Cash Book and Bank Book, ensuring all entries adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage Cash and Bank transactions effectively, including the secure deposit of funds into designated bank accounts.
Issue invoices and receipts promptly and accurately to students and other stakeholders.
Proactively follow up on outstanding receivables, employing effective communication and resolution strategies to ensure timely collection.
Maintain a meticulous expenditure file, substantiated with appropriate documentation and receipts, to support financial audits and reporting requirements.
Record all financial transactions accurately and comprehensively in Tally or relevant accounting software, maintaining strict adherence to accounting principles and standards.
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all organizational information and sensitive data, adhering to established protocols and best practices for data protection.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Qualification, Skills, and Requirement :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in Tally and Familiarity with general accounting principles.
Strong Proficiency in MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
