Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer proficient in Spring Boot and PostgreSQL. The role involves developing robust backend services and APIs that form the backbone of our applications. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of backend architecture and is capable of writing scalable, maintainable code with future microservices migration in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the system architecture for potential microservices transition.
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot).
Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration and high performance.
Design and implement efficient PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
Ensure application security, performance optimization, and scalability.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best coding practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to standards.
Contribute to system architecture design and prepare for future microservices transition.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively suggest improvements.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

2–5 years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.
Proficient understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.
Experience with Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Next.js, React.js, or TypeScript.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Note: Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience, skills, and performance.
