Smart Tech Nepal Pvt. Ltd. needs an enthusiast IT Support Technician. As an IT Support Technician, responsibilities include: installation on desktops, laptops and peripherals, system upgrades and patches, and resolution of software issues as they relate to Windows platforms. Additional duties include: system maintenance and recovery tasks, provide general troubleshooting on operational systems, and monitor system configurations ensuring functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 
1. Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows (Windows 7, 8 and 10) hardware and software problems 
2. Install and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, laptops and peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives and other related hardware 
3. Perform basic computer wired and wireless network troubleshooting 
4. Interact professionally with clients exhibiting strong customer service skills 
5. Develop, document and effectively communicate job processes, procedures and techniques 
6. Giving technical support to users through Remote Administrator.
7. Coordinate warranty service where applicable 
8. Provide timely project updates and status reports 
9. Maintain a high level of proficiency in using helpdesk systems and tools 
10. Track and maintain personal computer equipment inventories 
11. Tests new hardware and software 
12. Instruct clients in the basic use of approved hardware/software 
13. Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and customers 
14. Should have good experience with configuring outlook/ MS-Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 
1. One year of Information Technology-related experience [Fresher’s can apply too]
2. Associates Degree/ Technical Institute training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
3. Proven troubleshooting expertise in PC and Windows hardware and software. 
4. Windows 7/8/10 Proficient 
5. Securities Solutions: Antivirus, Anti-Malware and Anti-Spam 
6. Networking: TCP/IP, Wireless (802.11), DNS, DHCP knowledge 
7. Meticulous analytical and organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task 
8. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and written documentation skills.
