Job Description

Scope of Work:

Responsible Managing information technology and computer systems but not limited to controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations, managing IT staff, maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

Key Accountability:

  • Manage information technology and computer systems.
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on the IT systems.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensure that all routine maintenance, repairs and upgrades to the IT equipment are done in a timely manner.
  • Attend divisional and department meetings and trainings as and when scheduled.
  • Follow and remain updated on the company’s security/fire/safety procedures.
