Job Description

Deerwalk Services is looking for two IT Engineers to join its Cloud IT team. Major responsibility will be to handle IT tasks during the night time (10 PM to 7 AM).

Job Summary

The IT Engineers will be responsible for maintaining the company’s computer network, monitoring one or more system(s), and supporting the software and hardware requirements. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Handle/troubleshoot issues related to Production Systems.
Coordinate with the US Helpdesk team and resolve issues.
Install software packages in Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure environment and/or facilities
Follow defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve problems
Support one or more systems or applications of low to medium complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility (complexity is defined by the size, the technology used, and the system feeds and interfaces)
Monitor system’s operating capacity in terms of disk space, storage, and CPU utilization
Monitor hardware/software activities and resource utilization for capacity planning
Identify problems and optimize performance as needed
Produce technical documents
Communicate with subject experts as required
