Roles and responsibilities of this job

Duties & Responsibilities:

Identify and assess investment opportunities in various sectors such as agriculture, hydropower, manufacturing, real estate and other sectors.
Conduct financial analysis for potential investments.
Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and sector-specific risks.
Review and interpret audited financial statements of prospective investee companies.
Prepare investment memorandums for decision-making.
Support processes related to IPO/FPO/Right Share issuance for portfolio companies.
Monitor and report on the performance of investments and recommend portfolio actions.
Maintain market intelligence on sectors relevant to the company’s investment strategy.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Finance/Management (MBA/MBM/MBE) or Candidates pursuing or holding CA, ACCA, or CFA certifications with at least 1 year of relevant work experience,
OR
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Fresh master’s graduates with exceptional academic performance may also apply.
Academic Performance: Minimum First Division or CGPA 3.25/4.0 from a recognized university.

Expected Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
Understanding of investment valuation techniques and financial statement analysis.
Knowledge of primary and secondary capital markets and various financial instruments.
Familiarity with real estate, agriculture, and infrastructure project evaluation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple research and analysis tasks.
