Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the Company's financial management functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury management, and strategic financial decision-making while ensuring sound financial governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with banks and financial institutions for loan processing, loan renewals, and other credit-related matters.
Coordinate and manage the issuer rating and credit rating processes for the company, including communication with rating agencies and submission of required information.
Manage and oversee the overall financial operations of the Company.
Maintain accurate financial records, books of accounts, and supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow operations.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Prepare financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making.
Handle and monitor Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and import-related financial transactions.
Prepare and review costing sheets for imported project-related materials and equipment.
Develop and implement internal financial controls and risk management practices.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 8 years

Other Specification

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institution.
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including articleship/internship period.
Prior experience in a senior finance leadership role will be preferred.
Experience in hydropower, infrastructure, hospitality, or project-based industries will be an advantage.
